This Privacy Policy describes how ProKart Setup ("we", "us", or "our"), operated by Tamsing Motorsports, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the ProKart Setup application ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information — When you create an account, we collect your email address and name via Google Sign-In or email/password authentication.
• Kart setup data — Setup sheets, kart profiles, chassis settings, and other setup information you enter into the App.
• Calendar events — Race days, practice sessions, and testing days you add to the App calendar.
• Tire tracking data — Tire serial numbers, compounds, locations, and session counts you log in the App.
• Google Calendar data — If you connect Google Calendar, we access your calendar solely to create, update, and delete events that you add through the App. We do not read, store, or share any existing calendar events.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the ProKart Setup application
• Sync your setup data across devices via Firebase
• Sync race events to your Google Calendar when you enable this feature
• Improve and develop new features for the App

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Google Calendar Integration

When you connect Google Calendar, ProKart Setup requests permission to:

• Create calendar events for race days, practice sessions, and testing days
• Update calendar events when you edit them in the App
• Delete calendar events when you remove them from the App

We only access calendar data necessary to sync events you create in the App. We do not access, read, or store any of your existing Google Calendar events. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time in the App settings, which will revoke our access.

Our use of Google Calendar data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore database). Firebase is operated by Google and their data is stored on Google's secure servers. You can learn more about Firebase's data practices at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your information including Firebase Authentication for secure login and Firestore security rules to ensure each user can only access their own data.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Disconnect Google Calendar at any time
• Export your setup data

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by kart racers and their families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
